Tove Jansson Akebono Children’s Forest Park

“Tove Jansson Akebono Children’s Forest Park” is a park that was named after the original creator of the character Moomin, Tove Jansson.

This park is the second of its kind, the first being in her hometown of Helsinki, Finland.
In the park are the “Mushroom Houses” that welcome visitors to the park, and “the House of the Forest” from the Moomin picture books.

The basic concept of this park is the philosophy that Jansson valued most, which is nurturing creativity while playing in nature.

This park looks very different according to each season and makes you feel like you entered a fairy tale world.
In addition, it was awarded the “Certificate of Excellence 2017” from “TripAdviser”,

which is the world’s largest travel review website.
