The Kumagaya cherry blossoms have been well known since the Edo period to have about 500 cherry blossoms
blooming spanning about 2 kilometers and were honored with their beauty and were selected as “100 cherry blossom viewers”.
The Kumagaya Sakura Tsutsumi is at the Arakawa river, which is easily accessable
by public transportation from the JR Kumagaya Station.
You can see the cherry blossoms everywhere, and take lovely pictures by the trees.
When the time is right, the rape blossoms are also blooming,
with the contrast of the yellow and the cherry pink color are beautiful.
It will be festival lights on from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m..
With the illuminations at night, you can enjoy the cherry blossoms in moonlight with a fantastic sight of pale pink flowers.
