SATOE MEMORIAL ART MUSEUM OF 21ST CENTURY
Saitama’s northern region’s first authentic art museum opened in May of 2001 and is built around the concept of “Japanese Garden(s), Sculpture(s), and Painting(s).” It mainly focuses on local artists, but there are also domestic and international modern artworks on display.
Within the garden, there are roughly 20 sculptures on display, with different looks on display each season to be enjoyed.
It may be fun to utilize this place to hold a “Visual Thinking Curriculum” gathering for those with very little knowledge regarding art. (VST tours are not being held at this moment.)
