In Saitama prefecture, it is our top priority to ensure your safety by preventing the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). Thus, we request everyone to abide by the mitigation strategies and safely enjoy tourism in Saitama prefecture.

 

① Saitama New Lifestyle Call-out

Saitama’s various tourism operators have come together and established the “Sai no Kuni, New Lifestyle Call-out”, a set of guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Support them by visiting any of the tourism spots affiliated with “Sai no Kuni, New Lifestyle Call-out”.

1 Complete evasion of the “three Cs (san mitsu)

・Hourly ventilation

・Limited entries (cuing customers line up outside)

・Crowd prevention at reception, restrooms, and smoking areas

・Practice social distance

2 Infection prevention measures

・Restriction of visitors with slight fever or other symptoms

・Restriction of staff with symptoms

・Disinfection of hands, fingers, and high-touch areas

・Use of face masks

・Minimizing and greatly limiting shared items

・Tissues touched by saliva or nasal mucus will be thrown in a sealed plastic bag

3 Implementations to ensure the safety of visitors

・Hand sanitizer and medical thermometer at all entries

・Protective screens for desks and counters

・Regular ventilation and frequent disinfection

・Removal of items such as shared towels and handheld hair dryers
